Happy Halloween from our wizard | DIY Halloween Costumes
Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 10:07PM Yesterday on Facebook I posted a picture of the fort we made Wes

We don't normally go around making our son awesome forts, but the people next door have been trimming the trees, and we have an abundance of tree branches in our yard....and I can't think of a better way to remember his wizarding ways

We had to bribe him to get anything that resembles a clear picture - so the dirt and grime around his face? Yeah, you can thank the lollipop.
Gray made 99.9% of the costume, my .01% of the contribution was insisting that we get the feather poof so Wes has some serious magic coming out of his wand (oh, and I grew then birthed said costume wearing beast soooo DIY THAT husband). Gray just gave me a disappointed look, and mumbled something about me being "such a girl".
I am taking that as a complement.....
.....and snickering because he put our son in a dress - but some feathers are over the top? Logic fail husband. Logic fail.

You may notice a lack of beard on the wizard. Don't worry he has one, he just refuses to wear it, and forcing him to do so makes him weep. We suck at torturing The Beast and have given in and have yet to force him to wear it. A mistake? Most likely. But it will save us on therapy bills down the road.
Now if you will excuse this kick ass wizard, he has some serious wizarding wizardry to do, mmkkaayy?

Have a wonderful and spooky halloween everyone! The grandparents are stopping by for some chili, salad, cornbread and pie then Gray and I will be taking The Beast trick-or-treating to a few houses just to say we did.
What are you up to?
